In Essaouira Bay, the water is flat for about 100m before the waves start to form. The best wave spots in the area are Sidi Kaouki and Moulay Bouzerktoun and we can arrange kitesurf trips for you to these destinations. The mouth of the river in Essaouira also offers great flat water riding when the tide is high so you have many options.

Those lessons are the most popular at Surftwins Essaouira. Great for families or groups of two to four people maximum. The yare suitable for all levels especially for beginners. Duringt he mini-group lessons you will learn all the necessary basics, from flying the kite for the first time to independent kitesurfing.

In Essaouira, the semi-private kite lessons comprised of two customers with one instructor, each with their own equipment. You have the option learn with a friend, your partner or with someone that has the same level as you who we will match you with, allowing you to make a new friend too.
Private kite lessons are the most costly but fastest way to learn and progress. Develop your skills with a 2 hour lesson in Essaouira or Sidi Kaouki. We use bbtalkin headsets for some lessons depending on your level to enable us to communicate easily during your lesson. This enables even faster progression as the instructor can communicate with you at all times.
For kite rental we use Duotone gear, which is of high quality. For kites we have Neo, Dice, Rebel, Evo and Vegas, for twin tips we have Jaime and Team Series, as well as a selection of wave boards and foils. For Kite Storage in Essaouira we have lockable lockers as well as full use of the facilities in our centres from showers, changing room, as well as a launch and landing and boat rescue (hopefully not required). We run downwind and kite trips as and when required, they are a great way to see the surrounding area and stunning coastline.

I spent 3 months in Essaouira and met the Surftwins on my very first day for a surflesson in Sidi kaouki. A friend of mine advised me to book with them and I was not disappointed. They are very professional instructors, with a great pedagogy, teaching you much more than surfing : letting go, overcoming, self-confidence...in a very joyful atmosphere !Then they became kind of a family for me as I was stuck in Morocco and I discovered they were such interesting and good persons as well. During the 3 months they showed me wonderful other spots and I also practiced kitesurf. It was amazing. I highly recommend their services !Thank you for everything.
Friendly and reliable
We had a great experience with the surftwins, both are very friendly. They told us about the conditions and hours when to surf. They even came early one morning so we could have a early surf session
